一、購買機票、辦理乘機手續

◆為了在廣州白云國際機場辦理72小時過境免簽手續，您需事先購買72小時內已確定日期及座位的從廣州白云國際機場出境前往第三國（地區）的聯程機票，打印并隨身攜帶。
◆ To apply for the 72-hour transit visa exemption at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, you must buy and print the air ticket for a connecting flight with confirmed date of flight and seat for a third country (region )leaving China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport
◆請事先告知您前往廣州航班的航空公司工作人員，您將在廣州免簽證辦理72小時過境手續。

四、邊檢檢查

◆請按照72小時旅客標識指引前往邊檢2-4號專用通道。

◆請您提前準備以下資料：1）本人有效國際旅行證件、2）第三國（地區）簽證、3）填寫完整的外國人入境卡（包括在華住址）、4）72小時內已確定日期及座位的從廣州白云國際機場出境前往第三國（地區）的聯程機票。
◆ You must prepare the following information: 1) Your valid international traveling document; 2) A third country (region) visa; 3) Complete an entry card (Including your residential address in China; 4) Air ticket for a connecting flight with confirmed date of flight and seat for a third country (region) leaving China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport within 72 hours
五、提取行李
Reclaim Baggage
◆如果您選擇在前站將行李直掛第三國，您的行李將由廣州白云國際機場免費寄存，您無需再次提取行李。
◆ If you choose to tag through baggage to a third country, your baggage will be checked at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and you do not need to reclaim baggage again
六、海關檢查
Customs
◆如果您攜帶有向海關申報的物品，須填寫《中華人民共和國海關進出境旅客行李物品申報單》，選擇"申報通道"通關；如果沒有，無須填寫《申報單》，選擇"無申報通道"通關。
◆ If you take the goods that are required to be declared to the Customs, you must complete the Baggage Declaration Form for Inward/Outward Passengers of the Customs of the People’s Republic of China and choose the “Declaration Channel” to pass through Customs. If not, there is no need to complete the Declaration Form and you can choose the “No Declaration Channel” to pass through Customs.
七、離開機場
Leave the airport
◆提取行李后，您可以選擇機場大巴、地鐵、出租車等交通工具離開機場。
◆ After baggage reclaim, you can leave the airport by airport bus, Metro or taxi.
八、廣東省內活動
Enjoy your stay in Guangdong
◆在免簽時間范圍內，您可前往廣東省內任一城市。
◆ You may go to any city in Guangdong within the visa exemption time.
九、返回機場辦理乘機手續
Return to the airport and Check in
◆請在免簽時限前返回廣州機場，辦理登機手續。
◆ Please return to Guangzhou Airport before the time limit of visa exemption and check in.
◆在經過邊防檢查時，請準備有效國際旅行證件、外國人出境卡和出境航班登機牌。
◆Please prepare your valid international traveling document, departure card and boarding pass for outgoing flight during the immigration inspection.

A: No. The 72-hour limit is calculated by starting with zero hour the next day of the traveler’s entry. For example, if a traveler enters China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport on August 1, 2013, the visa exemption limit for entry is calculated by starting with 00:00 on August 2, 2013. The traveler can leave China before 23:59 on August 4, 2013.
問:符合72小時過境免簽條件的外國人，如何申請辦理過境手續？
Q: How can a foreigner who meets the requirements for the 72-hour transit visa exemption apply for it?
答:符合72小時過境免簽條件的外國人應當向載運其抵達廣州的航空公司告知其屬于72小時過境免簽旅客，并提出辦理過境免簽手續需求，由航空公司向廣州白云國際機場邊檢機關申報，邊檢機關按照政策規定對申請人條件審核準許后，辦理臨時入境手續。此外，對入境前未提出72小時過境免簽申請的外國人，也可在到達廣州白云國際機場后未辦理邊檢手續前向邊檢機關提出申請。
A: A foreigner that meets the requirements may submit his/her request to the airline company that carries him/her to Guangzhou, which shall make the application to the immigration of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport that shall grant a temporary entry of a passenger meeting the requirements for transit visa exemption upon verification. Besides, a foreigner that does not apply for the 72-hour transit visa exemption before entry may submit his/her application to the immigration before completion of the immigration after arrival at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
問:如果入境時沒有買好出境的機票，計劃先入境后再購買72小時內離境前往第三國的機票，是否可申請72小時過境免簽？
Q: Can a traveler apply for the 72-hour transit visa exemption when no exit air ticket is bought at the time of entry but he or she plans to purchase the air ticket for a third country leaving within 72 hours after entry?
答:根據政策規定，申請72小時過境免簽時，必須持有已確定日期及座位的從廣州白云國際機場出境前往第三國（地區）聯程機票，即在其入境前必須已買好出境時的機票。因此未訂妥72小時聯程機票的規定國家外國人，不能享受此項便利政策。
A: According to the requirements, a foreigner applying for the 72-hour transit visa exemption must hold the air ticket for a connecting flight with confirmed date of flight and seat for a third country (region) leaving China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, i.e., the exit air ticket is already in place before entry. Therefore, this facilitation measure does not apply to a foreigner that does not have a confirmed air ticket for a connecting flight leaving within 72 hours.

答:根據政策規定，72小時過境免簽政策是針對在廣州白云國際機場過境前往第三國（地區）的規定國家外國人，因此，對于前往國即是來自國的外國人，不能享受此項便利政策。
A: According to the requirements, the 72-hour transit visa exemption measure is for a foreigner connecting through Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for a third country or region. Therefore this measure does not apply to a passenger whose destination country is the country where he or she comes from.
問:在廣州白云國際機場辦理72小時過境免簽手續入境后，可否前往中國其他城市？
Q: Can a foreigner leave Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport for another Chinese city after getting the 72-hour transit visa exemption?
答:可以前往廣東省內城市，但不能離開廣東省。

答:目前此 項政策僅在廣州白云國際機場實施，即享受72小時過境免簽政策的旅客僅限從廣州白云國際機場出入境。
A: This measure is currently available at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport only, which means that the travelers who enjoy the 72-hour transit visa exemption policy are only permitted to enter and leave China at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
問:如果辦理72 小時過境免簽手續入境后因特殊原因無法在72 小時內及時離境，該怎么辦？
Q: What should be done in case a foreigner who has the 72-hour transit visa exemption cannot leave China within 72 hours due to some special reason after entry?
答:如遇不可抗力等原因需在廣東省行政區域停留超過72小時的，或者超出準予停留范圍的，應當到廣東省地級市公安機關出入境管理部門辦理相應的簽證。
A: In case of special need to stay in the administrative precincts of Guangdong Province longer than 72 hours due to force majeure or of exceeding the permitted scope of stay, a passenger should apply for the relevant visa to the exit-entry administration department of the municipal public security authorities of Guangdong.
