Reading is my favorite way to indulge my curiosity.

'This gorgeous graphic novel is a deeply personal memoir that explores what it means to be a parent and a refugee.'
'Desmond has written abrilliant portrait of Americans living in poverty. He gave me a better sense of what it is like to be poor in this country than anything else I have read.'
'His written voice is very similar to his stage voice, and I found myself laughing out loud several times while reading it.'
'The Sympathizer is a gripping story about a double agent and the trouble he gets himself into.'
'Smil is one of my favorite authors, and this is his masterpiece. He lays out how our need for energy has shaped human history – from the era of donkey-powered mills to today's quest for renewable energy.'
Life is not fair – get used to it!
The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself.
Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity.Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping - they called it 'opportunity'.
Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get any summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself.
